Black Culottes and Ruffle Sleeves

Spring has truly Sprung! Here in Manchester, the sun has come out just in time for Easter and whilst it’s not the height of summer yet, the break from rain is massively appreciated. Plus, it’s the perfect excuse to try out some new key SS’17 trends, so here’s my take two of the biggest high end to high street styles this season; Black Culottes and Ruffle Sleeves.

I’ve worn this exact look a couple of times and I have to admit I received the most compliments on an outfit I’ve had in a long time! There’s something about this pair of culottes from my staple favourites Closet London that have the abilities to make any top look smart, but alongside a high neck, ruffle sleeved number I think the two work really well together.

The blouse I’m wearing is from StyleWise Direct – a fashion wholesaler site – and is super affordable although it looks like it could have easily come from TopShop or Zara. As it’s so patterned with this beautiful Japanese  Cherry Blossom I like to wear it with all black accessories, so in this case I paired in with some old trusty black heels and my Marc B Knightsbridge bag. To finish, I popped on my new black strap watch from Johnny Loves Rosie; a lovely new addition to my Spring accessories wardrobe!

I’m so thankful for this little bit of sun we’ve had! Love this outfit, especially the shoes! And you’re right, the top does look like it came straight from Zara.
