This Black Lace Biba Dress from dresses at House of Fraser is a chic take on the traditional LBD. With lace detailing along the sleeves and neckline, it’s smart enough to be worn for a meeting or meal out, but it’s shift shape makes it casual enough to be dressed down with flats too.

I wanted to go for a vibe in between, so I took the chance to wear my new in Reese Boots by Rocket Dog. Rocket Dog just keep getting better and better in my eyes, and this pair of (dare I say it) Hobbs dupe boots are another keeper in my collection. Their contrast brown chunky heel and buckle give them a 90’s vibe that is perfect for giving a little edge of trendiness to a classic LBD.

Finally, I paired the look with my well worn Topshop silver handbag to give a pop of metallic colour, finishing it all off with a this sweet gold necklace by ADORE Jewelery.
