Christmas is not only my favourite time of the year (in general!) but it’s my favourite time of the year for limited edition beauty collections. I love all of the festive scents and deep coloured packaging, and even if you use the items throughout the year, there’s something really nostalgic about them. This year, The Body Shop have brought out one of my favourite Christmas collections from them to date – the new Frosted Plum scent.
It would be rude not to start this review with one of my Holy Grail products – The Body Shop’s body butter. No matter what scent I get this in, it’s always a repurchase. I use it religiously and only the Soap and Glory Righteous Butter comes close to it’s excellent quality and long-lasting fragrance. The Frosted Plum Body Butter is no exception; it’s fragrance is subtly festive and the buttery, creamy texture is as wonderful as ever.
Now, on to an item that’s brand new to me – my first candle by The Body Shop. I can’t be sure if this is a debut product, but I don’t recall ever seeing any candles in The Body Shop before. And, as a candle addict, I am pretty sure I would remember! This candle comes in a lovely box which means it would be a lovely stocking filler or Secret Santa idea, but aside from that the scent is soft plum, magnolia and peony combination and it is a decent price at £10 (actually, now only £5 in the sale!).
The Frosted Plum Bath Fizzers are another product I’ve not tried before. I usually think of Lush for bath products (especially their famous bath bombs!) but I have been really enjoying these little bath treats. The tub includes 10 blocks that can be popped in your bath for a bit of bubbly fun – whilst they don’t create huge bubbles, they do have a really nice ‘fizz’ on them and I like how they are already divided into size. Sometimes you have to use a whole massive bath bomb in one, or crumble off little bits, but this tub just makes things so much easier.
The final item I tried from The Body Shop Frosted Plum Christmas collection was a glitter body mist. Now, I have to hold my hands up and say this is not a product I would usually use, but it IS a lovely Christmas present idea and perfect for a New Year’s Eve party. Spritz some of this on your legs and arms before a night out and you’ll be smelling lovely and sparkling too!

Hi Julia, I got mine online but I wouldn’t be surprised if they were now in the sale in larger Body Shop’s or their out of town outlet centres. I know of one at Cheshire Oaks which might have it.
