Camel Colour Suede Skirt

Suede skirt

Fashionistas all over are loving a bit of camel right now, and having experimented with camel coats I think that the camel suedette skirt is the way to go. Not only is it’s A-Line shape flattering, the way that most of these skirts have buttons vertically down the front is a good way to draw attention from wider hips (like mine!). Plus, I reckon this is a key transitional piece for taking you from autumn, to winter, to spring (now) to summer (without tights – eek)!

Camel suette skirts are definitely having their moment right now, but I’m personally not convinced of their longeivity. Sure there’s a lot of higher end version you can get of this skirt if you want to make it a wardrobe staple, but for me it’s more of a fashion fad and I didn’t fancy splashing the cash. So, I made a trip to Primark and picked this up for a bargainous £8; now I won’t be gutted if I only get a year’s wear out of it.

It’s still too chilly to go ahead and brave no-tights weather, so at the moment I’m still pairing this with opaque black tights and ankle boots. However, it also looks great with a sheer or lace blouse which is a bit of a nod to the warmer months. Pop on a pussybow and wide brim hat and you’re the height of fashion; or at least, like me, you can pretend you are!

I love this outfit, in fact I’m in love with every white blouse I see at the moment! You’re looking lovely and that sign in the background is so cute!
