Elemis Biotec Review and Skincare Routine

Elemis Biotec Review

The scientifically focused skincare range, Biotec by Elemis, has been one of the hottest beauty launches this year. Having heard so much about the range myself – and all good things, might I add! – I logged on to my favourite skincare website Beauty Expert to find out more and try it for myself. So, here’s my Elemis Biotec Review, including their Cleanser, Day Cream and Night Cream.

Elemis Biotec Review

Based on re-energising skin cells that may have become depleted over time (meaning your face looks aged and dull over time), the Elemis Biotec range is founded on scientific research to rehydrate and replenish your face. Hey, we only get one – so we might as well look after it!

The first item I use in my daily Elemis Biotech skincare regime is the Biotec Skin Energising Cleanser. This aims to kick-start your skincare routine by preparing the skin for the moisturiser to follow after. It’s almost like using a face wash to prime your skin, which is especially handy in the mornings when time is tight before work!

I find this a really love cleanser to use morning and although I do prefer a hot cloth cleanser for the evenings, I often do double cleanse by following it up the the Skin Energising Cleanser to make my face feel squeaky clean! This cleanser hasn’t had any adverse effects on my skin and leaves my face feeling fresh.

Following the cleanser, I often skip toning (naughty, I know – but I’m lazy!) and go straight into moisturiser. Luckily Elemis have a Biotec Moisturins for morning and night. The Biotec Skin Energising Day Cream and Night Cream not only moisturise the skin to add hyrdation, but each have their own Biotec function.

The Biotec Skin Energising Day Cream is scientifically proven to help increase cell energy using Zinc and Copper, meaning it works throughout the day to add Bio-Energy to your face. Pretty cool to know all that is going on under your makeup! For evenings, the Biotec Skin Energising Night Cream using the patent-pending Bio-Energy complex by Elemis to regenerate your skin cells over night. Fun fact: the skin is most receptive to changes and improvements overnight, as whilst you sleep your cells replenish themselves too.

Over all, I’ve really enjoyed trying out the Elemis Biotec range from Beauty Expert and I will continue to use this as part of my daily routine. It might be a little pricer than usual (29.50, £75 and £85 per bottle) but it’s totally worth it to rely on a skincare routine based on scientific results.
