Floral Dorothy Perkins Skater Dress

dorothy perkins floral dress

It’s mid September, so whilst summer is pretty much over and the Autumn nights are drawing in, I’m still gonna wear my floral dresses wherever and whenever I can! This particular Floral Dorothy Perkins Skater Dress* came as part of my huge Fashion Chick Blogger Network parcel. Gotta love a bit of Dorothy Perkins. I feel like with DP you just know what you’re gonna get when you buy from them, the sizes are always true to size and the items was really well. You can you’re a full grown adult when you start raving about clothes based on their quality rather than their fashion-forwardness.

I never really think pink is my colour as it tends to clash a little too much with my pale complexion, but I think that because of the vibrant grey and black floral pattern on this dress I can just about pull it off.

The skater style is something I really love about this Dorothy Perkins Skater Dress; skater fits are just so flattering for an hourglass or pear shaped body, and I kinda think I am a mix between the both. Cinching you in at your waist and then flowing over your hips is never a bad thing!

Aside from my white daisy floral headband, I kept the rest of my accessories simple and black to fit with the monochrome print of the dress. There’s not many times a year I can risk going without tights or trousers in Manchester, but I had to take my chance whilst I could and so I braved the city with bear legs. It kinda felt liberating, if not a little chilly.
