Frizz Free Curls with Hair Xpertise: Argan Raincoat Humidity Shield

Okay so, times are weird right now, and whilst we might not be going out much anymore, I still wanna have cute hair to impress my dog, okay?! All jokes aside though, as a curly girly, I take looking after my locks pretty seriously. Once I find a hair care brand that works for my curls I stay pretty loyal, which is why I was excited to try the new Argan Raincoat Humidity Shield by Hair Xpertise, a brand I have used as part of my curly hair routine many times before. This new-in serum boasts that it is perfect for protecting curls from the rain and keeping locks frizz free – which might come in handy if the only recreational time we’re gonna get right now is going for walks outside!

The RainCoat Humidity Shield is activated with heat when you dry your hair. Although I usually let my hair air dry, I have used this several times when I have needed to get the hairdryer on the go before going out. I simply spritz this serum onto my damp hair and use a diffuser through the hair. The heat in your dryer works to activate the product and to form a protective barrier over the cuticle of your hair. For curly girls who live in Manchester, like me, a little extra protection from the rain is a God-send!

As for the rest of my current curly hair routine? I like to use the Argan Renew Shampoo and Conitioner from Hair Xpertise, which are both forumulated with Caffeine nourishing Marula and Argan Oils to help strengthen and protect hair. Then, whilst my hair is damp and before I dry it using the Hair Shield, I like to use their Argan Oil Hair Treatment from the same range. Totally vegan-friendly, this hair oil is proven to reduce drying time by up to 50%.
