Manchester Arndale Christmas Advert 2015

IMG_8497

Have you been naughty or nice this year? Hmmm – it’s a tough one, maybe a bit of both?! Well, either way, Manchester Arndale have got you covered in their new Christmas video advert campaign. You may remember I visited the Manchester Arndale Christmas Video Shoot 2015 set a few weeks ago to get a sneak peek behind the scenes (and share more than a few BTS pics with you guys as well), and now I am so excited to bring you the full 60 second video edit – plus a giveaway to celebrate as well!

Naughty or Nice?

The idea behind the Manchester Arndale Christmas Advert 2015 campaign is pretty simple – we’re all familiar with Santa’s naughty or nice list, right? Manchester Arndale have given this notion a breath of fresh air and injected it with a fashionable twist. As well as cool and quirky special effects and graphics throughout the video, it becomes clear that half of the model’s wardrobe is ‘nice’ (daytime winter clothes, knitwear and woolly hats) and the other half is pretty darn nasty (nightwear, Christmas party dresses and the highest heels).

The Nice Ones

Here are my top 3 ‘nice’ looks from the advert – from left to right they are ‘Geek Glam’, ‘Marshmallow Pastels’ and ‘Power Dressing’. Although these aren’t your typical go-to winter outfits (heck, not sure I would be wearing no tights in Manchester in winter!), they are such a great example of how you can transition your looks throughout the year. I particularly love the Marshmallow Pastels look and could definitely see myself wearing this – it shows how by accessorising up a winter coat you can instantly add a bit of glam to your usual look.

Feeling Nasty?

I like all the daytime looks as they are so wearable, but what I really LOVE are the Christmas Party Looks! As soon as November hits it’s fair play when looking for the perfect party dress to take you through from Christmas parties to New Year’s Eve and there’s plenty of cute cocktail dresses to choose from at Manchester Arndale! From left to right, my Top 3 ‘nasty’ looks are ‘Precious Metal’, ‘Fringe Benefits’ and ‘Code Red’. I love how Precious Metal puts a contemporary twist on the traditional Christmas party dress by including a coulette jumpsuit; so flattering and the perfect way to wear a new season trend whilst keeping up the party spirit! Fringe Benefits features an incredible Leather dress – one for the rock chicks and gals looking for something a little different this season, whilst Code Red has to be the epitome of festive. You guys know I love a good red dress and this little number from Topshop has got to be the ideal Christmas dress.

If you fancy buying any of the items yourself from these looks (I’m tempted, not gonna lie!) then Manchester Arndale has created a breakdown of every single look shown in the advert, letting you know where to get the items or similar. Of course, each item featured in the video is from Manchester Arndale – which really shows you how much fashion diversity there is under one roof, which has GOT to make Christmas shopping easy, right?
