Hey kittens!

Welcome to my latest Outfit of the Night youtube video, where I am going back to my rock’n’roll roots and channelling goth-chic. Oh, and if you hadn’t noticed, absolutely everyone who’s anyone is all over monochrome right now – so here is my little contribution!

I absolutely love this incredible Elenia Two-Tone Dress from Pop Couture – I think it is the perfect night-time dress for adding a little edge to your look. As y’all kittens know, I have been huge on studs since Autumn 2012 and as the trend is set to continue far into the fashion future, I am delighted to be rocking them on the collar of this dress. As y’all know – I am big on shirts so it’s always a bonus when a dress has a collar, especially when it’s as fierce as this one!

To add to the silver spike theme, I had no choice (tough life) but to team the outfit with my favourite statement shoes, these Jeffrey Campbell Nightwalk dupes from Prodigy Red. I really can’t get enough of these incredible heel-less high heels – and for £14.99 you literally cannot go wrong (unless you topple over due to the incredile height, but hey, you gotta suffer for fashion!).

And although it might be March (only just) it’s still pretty darn cold in Manchester, so I was very much in need of my stunning Selfish by Forever Unique faux fur jacket. In my opinion, no outfit is complete without faux fur and this coat is of such amazing quality I find almost any excuse to wear it. I love the way the soft glamour of the fur contrasts with the tough spikes of the dress and shoes; mixing textures is one of my favourite statements to do.

Finally, as a finishing touch, I added my beautiful Links of London silver necklace that I was so kindly bought as a Christmas present (thank you!). I love how it adds a touch of sophistication to the outfit and really pops my silver accessories theme.

So kittens, yay or nay? Are you loving monochrome this spring or are you preferring pastels right now? Let me know in the comments below. And don’t forget to follow me on Twitter, like my Facebook page and subscribe to my Youtube channel to keep up to date with all things fashion!

I love the outfit :) I've been doing monochromatic all autumn and winter. Now I want the weather to warm up a bit to bring out the pastels

      Thank you!

Monochrome is such a good transistional trend but I agree – would be good to get some brighter colours out there – I've got a beautiful tie-dye pastel dress I've been itching to wear! :)

      Thanks for reading xx
