Outfit of the Day – “Sheer Shirt, Studs & Leopard Print”

Hey kittens!

This outfit is another collaboration piece with MissPap.co.uk. As I’ve stated before, I cannot praise them enough for their quick shipping, fabulous items and good communication. I know how risky it can be to order items online but I have been nothing but impressed with the service I’ve received from MissPap – I would definitely recommend them to you all, if this is your style.

The look for today was just a really casual, Sunday outfit. Its one I would just pop to the shops in or meet my friends in; really comfortable, really chilled but still chic! Although I’m essentially just wearing skinny jeans and a shirt, the little details help to make the outfit stand out from the crowd. For instance, I don’t really wear Tshirts as I feel they’re a bit too boring for me, so a good way to always look smart and fashionable is to pair a shirt with jeans instead! Chiffon shirts have been big for a couple of years now and always add a little something to the look, but the studded trend has started to become HUGE very quickly and so by having a studded collar its easy to be completely on trend whilst still remaining comfortable.

A patterned cardigan is also a really easy way to brighten up an otherwise dark or plain outfit. As all my kittens know, leopard print is my ultimate favourite pattern in the world, so this cardigan was a winner with me! Chunky knitwear is really fashionable at the moment and always a fantastic way to try and keep warm, (especially for those of us who live in Manchester)! The colours in this cardigan are very earthy and so whilst the pattern is quite bold, the neutral colours ensure its not too much of an overload.

I didn’t wear any accessories with this outfit as I wanted to remain comfortable and casual, but the shoes I chose were planned to tie in with the browns of the cardigan. The tan blocks of the shoes really help to give the outfit a bit of colour, too. These shoes are really chic – I love the pointed shape and the cute little bows. Although they’re only dolly shoes (or ballet flats), these little details help the shoes to be fashionable as well as comfortable.
