This outfit is a firm favourite of mine and one which I change up with different variations of shirts/jeans on an almost daily basis! I often find myself struggling to dress casually – I’m not the type of girl to be able to rock trackie bottoms and a hoodie – so a shirt and jeans are my usual go-to outfits. Perfect for shopping, running errands, meeting friends or for an afternoon lunch. About as casual as I get, considering I only own about 2 T-shirts.

This shirt is one of my absolute favourites! I found it in a charity shop for £6 and knew I had to have it! Its a metalic lilac, silk and from a reputable brand. I don’t think it had even been worn before I owned it, its in perfect condition! Testiment to its good quality is the ornate swirl collar, hand embroided into the materal, with specific button holes for the collar buttons and three button holes on the inside of each cuff of the sleeve. Its a little bit of luxury on a basic budget! 

I accessorised the shirt with a piece of black material which I tied into a pussybow, which not only draws attention to the amazing collar detail but also ties in with the black jeans and shoes. You all know I love a colour theme!

The loafers are also my favourite shoes of the moment, although Lord knows they bite my toes like vicious kittens! Anyone that knows me is aware of my almighty love of the cat kind, so not only are the loafers bang on trend for 2012/2013 with the slipper shaped shoe, but also appeals to my personality. And fashion is all about personality!
