Although it can be easy to think that you only need SPF during the summer, that’s totally untrue. Although it’s not warm outside right now – and let’s be honest, rarely sunny in Manchester – sunscreen is still a must-have. Any time out skin is exposed to sunlight we are risking exposure to harmful UVA and UVB rays, which not only contribute to the chance of developing skin cancer, but in their least harmful form age skin and cause fine lines and wrinkles. To protect myself from this, my go-to SPF right now is the SunSense Daily Face SPF 50+.
SunSense Daily Face is a moisturising sun cream for the face, containing a sheer tint and giving a matte finish. At SPF level 50+, it contains the perfect protection for every day use – I like to pop it on over my day moisturiser and before my primer. For those who worry about breaking out after using sunscreen (yes, I too remember the thick white creams my Mum smothered over my face as a kid!) you don’t have to worry here. SunSense Daily Face SPF 50+ is fragrance-free, propylene glycol-free and has been dermatologically tested to minimise any nasty breakouts.
