Unhappy New Year 2015

Happy New Year, kittens. I’m writing this on New Year’s Eve, just as my latest video has gone live. I hope you’re all having a lovely night – whether you’re out and about, partying or just having a quiet one snuggled up watching films and reading blogs (hands up here!).
Today’s video is a change in direction. It’s moving forward but also looking back to what I firstly intended my YouTube channel and blog to be; in 2015 I want to do more things that matter. I want to cover a greater range of topics, questions and debates and I want to hear what y’all have to say as well. Fashion blogging will always be my primary love and I won’t let go of that at all – I just want to talk about other things, too.
Plus, if you’re finding this time of year hard, talk to someone. Sometimes (but not very often), people talk about Christmas being a difficult time of year for some people – the nights get longer, it’s dark and there’s a lot of focus about having lots of people around you – but I’ve never heard anything about New Year being difficult. But, if it is for you, it makes sense – thinking about a whole new 12 months rolling out before you, with very little idea of what might happen can be pretty exciting, but pretty scary too.
If you’re struggling, just take one day at a time and continue to work hard at whatever goals you have for yourself. And if you’re having a hard time at the mo, please talk to someone about it – here are some links that you mind find useful:
Samaritans: http://www.samaritans.org/ – call 08457 90 90 90 or email jo@samaritans.org
Mind: http://www.mind.org.uk/ – call 0300 123 3393 or text 86463

And now, I’m going to pour myself another drink. Have a fantastic start to 2015, and thank you once again for all your support in 2014 – I truly appreciate and hope you will join me again for next year, starting in T minus 2 hours…
