Winter Walking Outfit

Oh hey there little pug puppy! If you follow me me on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram then you will have have seen that last weekend I welcomed my first fur baby into my life. Please say hello to Sonny, my beautiful 8 week old pug puppy and love of my life! I’ll be doing a whole new blog post about him later this week (gotta have a proper intro to the little guy, haven’t we?) but for now I wanted to share with you Sonny’s very first Outfit of the Day – a winter walkies outfit!

Thie whole outfit aside form the boots (mine – not Sonny’s!) is from USC. Now having a puppy in my life, I have come to terms with the fact that I am going to be spending a lot of my Winter outside. Whilst that’s probably good for keeping down my Christmas-pudding waistline, it’s also bloomin’ chilly in Manchester right now.

So, I decided it was about time I got myself a winter coat that was actually warm and waterproof. This Firetrap Polly Parka* is just the ticket; it’s lined with faux fur so it’s snug, it’s my first coat to have an actual hood (SO needed for rainy Manc) and I love it’s kahki colour. The faux leather sleeves and faux fur details also give it that something extra, proving that practical can also be fashionable!

My Rock and Rags checked shirt dress* and wet look leggings* are also from USC, and were super affordable. I love the A-Line shape of this shirt dress – it’s way more flattering than your standard oversize plaid blouse and the belt helps to cinch you in at the waist. Paired with these faux leather leggings – hello comfort – it’s the perfect casual outfit for puggy walks.

My knee high black boots* are from Rocket Dog and have a slight heel and buckle detail (which I love), so complimented the outfit really well. I love how popping these on was so easy and comfortable, and was an easy way of making sure I didn’t loose my glam for my Winter Walking Outfit morning doggy stroll.

Oh, and shoutout to Sonny the fashion pug – co-ordinating his OOTD to match mine. How did he know?!
