In the UK, certain regions are deemed excellent to grow a family.

According to data gathered by the Office of National Statistics by interviewing 300, 000 people in the past three years, the Highlands of Scotland has the largest number of happy people in the entire UK. 43% of those who were interviewed have rated their well-being as a 9 or a 10 with 10 the highest possible score. It has been noticed that those living in the rural areas tend to have a happier life than those living in urban areas. The countryside is beautiful with a strong local economy and solid local communities.

Another place, Manchester, has been voted once again as one of the best places to live in the UK. A study conducted by the Economic Intelligence Unit has revealed that this city has some of the best in terms of healthcare, education, culture, infrastructure, environment and stability. In fact, the Northwest England offers a diverse range of career opportunities and jobs especially in principal cities like Oldham or in other locations depending on industry and the position you are interested in.

When asked if they were happy were they are, more than 9 out of 10 people in Wales have said yes, according to a UK-wide study. Blessed with some of the country’s most beautiful scenery, living here allows you to enjoy the natural beauty of the surroundings. This study which used data collected during interviews for the British Household Panel Survey, factors for happiness included strong community spirit, fantastic climate, little noise and air pollution and low crime rates.

These are just some of the best and happiest places to live in the UK. Choosing where to live in the country will always depend on the family’s preferences and needs. There are so many beautiful places to choose from but it is important to consider the basic factors that will ensure the family’s positive growth and development.
