5 Ways to Upgrade Your Glamping Experience and Add a Bit of Style

As much as I hate to get myself down and dirty, I have to admit that especially if you’re a pet owner like me, camping is a fantastic way to spend a weekend or even a couple of days with your friends and family surrounded by natural beauty. If you’re lucky enough to have some kind of forest or camping ground near you, then it’s a great idea to pack up your things and spend a weekend over there with a small group. Even if you decide to solo camp, it’s a great way to experience nature up close and unwind away from the city.

However, camping can be a little uncomfortable for those that aren’t accustomed to it. So to help you out, we’ve put together a few tips to help you upgrade your campaign experience and also add a bit of style.

Plan your meals and bring premium cooking accessories

Camping meals are typically quite simple and often come in cans or bags for ease of cooking. However, if you’re willing to do a bit of planning, why not consider bringing some premium cooking accessories and planning meals ahead by bringing lots of your own ingredients? Just make sure you bring extras and ensure that your ingredients won’t perish during the trip!

Bring a battery of some sort

Whether it’s a small generator to power multiple devices or even just a large battery bank to keep your phone going, having electricity while camping completely changes what you’re able to do. It could be playing music in the wild and dancing with your group, having a movie night out in the woods or even powering a small water heater for a warm shower in the morning. It might be against the spirit of camping, but if it makes you enjoy it more, who cares?

Get yourself a camper trailer

Although expensive, a camper trailer is a great way to add more convenient and comfortable amenities for your camping experience. Instead of sleeping in a tent, you’ll be sleeping inside a large vehicle that offers extra facilities such as a toilet, bed and even a kitchen. Companies like Austrack Campers typically offer some fantastic deals on camper trailers in many different styles. It takes a bit of research to find the right one for your needs, but it’s a fantastic way to camp in style and also avoids some of the common turn-offs with camping.

Bring an airbed

One of the biggest issues with camping is that sleeping is uncomfortable if you have to lay on the floor with a sleeping bag. It’s uneven, stones could poke at you and it’s going to be gold. Instead of using a sleeping bag, why not blow up an airbed and use that instead? It’s far more comfortable, slightly raised and you can bring your own blankets and pillows!

Camp somewhere unique and far away

Why settle for a basic camping experience near your home when you could tick off a bucket list location and camp somewhere much further away? There are always safety concerns when camping somewhere you aren’t familiar with, but it’s a great way to change up the location, add some new scenery to your camping experience and upgrade your camping adventure.
