I know, I know, it’s all about Valentine’s on the blog this week, but if there’s one week a year it can be, it’s definitely this one! Today’s gift idea is a lovely little treat ‘for her’ (whether that’s your girlfriend, mum or friend) whoever you want to treat on the day of lurrrve.
Argento contacted me a few weeks ago asking if I would like to receive one of their surprise Valentine’s Day boxes*. A fan of surprises, I said ‘yes please’, and so this week this lovely little pack of goodies arrived on my doorstep, just in time for the big day. What a treat!
Argento are a Belfast based jewellers, so the main talking point of the package is of course the item of jewellery included. At first glance, it looks like an expensive solid rose gold bracelet, but picking it up it’s clear it’s definitely not that – in fact, it’s a super light, elasticated bracelet. Not going to lie, I was kinda disappointed at first but then I researched Argento a little more and realised they specialise in Costume Jewellery, which makes sense. And hey, if it looks expensive, that’s all that matters, right?
The package also included a couple of other goodies. Aside from the leaflets, there was a bottle of fake tan (a similar colour to the bracelet), which I have already given to my sister – y’all know I’m a pale-and-loving-it kinda gal. But, best of all, there was also an Argento branded selfie stick. Selfie sticks are all the rage this year, so I’m delighted that one of these was included – it’s a really nice surprise and really made my day!
