Birthday Presents For The Man In Your Life

Hello to a pretty ironic post! As Manchester’s most single bachelorette, you might not think I am in that good of a position to give advice on buying for men, but trust me, been there, done that! And remember ladies, only treat him if he’s treating you like a princess already, alright? We like ladies who know what they deserve round here.

Buying for the man in your life can be difficult. Quite often, he might not give much away about what he wants for a gift. Maybe he plays it cool, acting a bit disinterested, or says he doesn’t want much. But, if you can’t spoil him for his birthday. When can you?

Start early and get clues. Try and take him shopping and subtly gauge his reaction to any items that you see in the stores. If you are ordering online, pick a time for delivery when you know he won’t be around to see it getting delivered. Alternatively, have your items shipped to another address so that he won’t see things arriving.

Smaller Gifts

Getting lots of little gifts that build-up to the main event. Start with some little stocking fillers like funny mugs, some fancy beer, or a box of chocolates. Everyone loves a little bit of novelty in their life, so look for little things that might appeal to his sense of humour, or go with a hobby,

Buy Him A New Hobby

A present can be something more than just a simple item. If you buy something like a guitar for someone who doesn’t already play, it will be an excellent place to start before they take lessons.

Think about things that your partner may have expressed a desire to do in the past. You can encourage him to take up a new hobby that will bring him fun for a long time to come. Who knows, it may be something that he takes up and enjoys for life.

Buy Him A Trip Away

Why not look at going glamping somewhere? Finding the perfect little country retreat could be very relaxing.

You may want to look at hiring a retro camper van and going on a road trip together. You’ll both have great fun driving along, and you get to take your hotel with you wherever you go.

Buying a trip away is like buying special memories together. Doing something together can be both fun and romantic

Clothing

Show him that you want him to look good for you. If you pick out some nice clothes for him, he’ll feel wanted, and he’ll look great.

Why not buy him something special, like a nice suit. Or a pair of designer brogues

Gig Tickets

A night out to see his favourite band is always likely to go down well. If you like his taste in music, it can be a great night out together.

Why not make a short break of it, book into a hotel and let your hair down.

Big Boys Toys

This may sound stereotypical, but boys love toys and a lot of guys love things like drones. Why not get him a camera drone with first-person view. You can get it to transmit straight to your smartphone.

With a bit of practice, he’ll be doing stunts in no time. However, it may take him a couple of close shaves to get to grips with the controls. You should probably look at getting him some spare parts while you’re at it.
