Outfit of the Day: Halloween Inspired

Hey spooky cats!
Got a belated Halloween post for ya’ll (but my video went up on the 31st October, promise).
I’m not really one for Halloween, I don’t really dress up and thats not because I’m boring, its because I just don’t get it! So my take on the day was this Halloween inspired Outfit of the Day, where instead of going with the scary/fancy dress route, I followed the colour scheme of the holiday.

I wore this beautiful bright orange blazer from Primark – it was a real good find! Not only was it kinda a bargain anyway, given the shop, it was also in the sale – double the bonus. I love the navy blue lapels and elbow pads, as well as the square shoulder pads that help to give a sleek silhouette. Although some say that navy and black should never be, er, seen, I went for it anyway and wore my Dorothy Perkins flare shirt and Matalan pleather (faux leather) leggings which have made a right comeback in my wardrobe recently.
For my accessories I wore these fabulous yet eerily comfortably heeled chelsea boots from Cloggs.co.uk – I am in love and I could not wear these enough! I also accessorised with a blood red/orange lipstick and these blood red, Dita Von Teese-esque bio-gel nails from Etre Belle, which I will blog about very soon!
