2018 has been all about power dressing, tailored suits, structured blazer and flared trousers – and so this year, instead of the usual Christmas party dress, I’m going to be rocking a Metallic Knit Suit by Lavish Alice. This power suit has all the best bits of a traditional suit, including a double breasted blazer, double lined trousers and a slimming silhouette, but re-imagined for the festive season in a striking and shining silver fabric. It is truly show-stopping and the perfect alternative if you’re looking to upgrade your Christmas frock this season.
As this suit truly does all the talking, I went with all black accessories to compliment it and not distract from the over all look. The braver of us could absolutely wear this blazer with just a bra underneath (or maybe nothing at all!) but I prefer to dress more modest so went for a chiffon camisole underneath which I think compliments it perfects. For a more casual look, I am planning to also style this suit with a white slogan t-shirt and white converse for a daytime glam look. I’ll share it just as soon as I do…
