New Look #FashionThrowback

Throwback Thursday? More like #FashionThrowback! When New Look challenged me to look back at one of my favourite dresses from past years as part of their New Look #FashionThrowback, I just had to pick out this tie-dye maxi dress in anticipation of my summer holiday (which is in less than 100 days time, fyi – not that I’m counting!). This is the perfect dress for slipping on over a bikini, or popping on with a pair of heeled sandals for a day-to-night beach look, so it’s about time I dug it out the back of my wardrobe again!

 

 

 

This look was originally posted on my blog here in 2013 and since New Look* challenged me to take a look back at my favourite dresses over the years, it’s made me realise that I’ve really not given it enough love. I feel like my cruise this year will be the perfect opportunity to wear it again; I’m thinking with a huge floppy black hat, statement shades and a pair of black gladiator sandals. Yeah, that’s the one.
I’ve also been thinking of ways I could recreate a similar look with a newer addition to my wardrobe, such as this Blue Paisley Print Maxi. Lord knows I love a good pattern!
New Look have tons of different types of dresses and are always a firm favourite high street store for me – I honestly find the dresses so affordable, and I’ve already bagged myself a couple of maxi dresses ready for my jollies in a few months!
