Polkadot Wrap Maxi Dress with a Pop of Red

Polkadots have definitely made a revival this year. Whether its white on black, white on red or – my favourite combination – white on black, polkadots have been all over the high end designers and high street this Spring Summer 2018 and it doesn’t look like they’re going anywhere as we move into Autumn.

This polkadot wrap maxi dress is the perfect way to wear the trend in a way that is transitional from Summer (with a pair of sandals) to Autumn (just as easily worn with tights, a pair of ankle boots and a leather jacket). And, in true Lily Kitten style, with a pop of red, red nails and red lip, making it a classic look.

No matter how old I get or how my style changes, I am forever a big love of the classic, retro feel and love little pop art references I can make in my style, such as this subtle heart shaped belt and my ‘Hot Like Hell’ handbag I picked up in the Skinny Dip London sale.

A monochrome print like this black and white polkadots can be dressed up or down, but for me, pairing neutral shades with a pop of red is such a fun way to wear the trend.

Oh and of course, shoutout to my favourite accessory, Lazy Sonny Days the pug, who is my most treasured being in the entire world. I could be wearing a bin bag and he’d still make me look good – little poser!
