I wish we didn’t have to wear tights in May… But alas, this is Manchester and we (have to) do things differently here! With the weather predictably unpredictable, tights underneath mini dresses are certainly the safer option and for me, make me feel a little more comfortable when not wearing a midi or maxi length. For this look, I chose to wear them underneath this tweed pinafore dress.
The pinafore dress has seen me through Winter and now into the full clutches of Mancunian Spring! Based on a heritage tweed design, I love the pattern and the side stripe detail – it makes it look way more expensive than it was… Which is handy as it was a billy bargain from George at Asda! Yep, picked this up in the sale when I was doing my weekly food shop a few weeks ago. £9 well spent, I reckon.
