Christmas Dinner with a Beauty Influence

img_3286

Party season is here and in preparation I’ve been thinking about all the special hair do’s that I’m going to be creating (well, attempting) for the upcoming nights out. To help me get into the Christmas hair styling spirit, Salon Success UK invited me along to meet the team and learn more about their large portfolio of hair brands over the most beautifully set Christmas dinner. Imagine a Christmas dinner table set full of beauty goodies… Plus, a little festive get together is always a bonus, right?

We were welcomed along to the most beautiful private dining room with the table set for ten of us for dinner. It’s always so important to get a Christmas table just right and this one looked impeccable. If you’re looking for a statement dining table, Viaduct have a whole range of statement furniture inspired by mid-century styles to keep your home stylist throughout 2017. Also remember to set the table to suit your audience, for us as Beauty Bloggers, Salon Success provided the most amazing beauty decor, including beauty goodies from legendary hair stylist Paul Mitchel,  as well as personalised name places, Christmas crackers, festive photobooth props and gorgeous silverware. Everything we needed to get us feeling festtive!

The team at Salon Success UK were wonderfully welcoming and told us all about the beauty brands they distribute. From world renown haircare brands such as Paul Michel to up and coming makeup brands like New CID Cosmetics, they have a whole portfolio of leading beauty brands on their books. As well as a whole host of beauty booty, they pride themselves on being one of the nicest companies in the biz and pride themselves on building relationships. Our Christmas dinner with them is testament to that, especially as they were visiting some of the major blogging cities in the UK to take their relationship building on tour. N’aww!

Hosted at King Street Townhouse in Manchester, dinner was as delicious as it looked! Starting with breaded Camembert balls and moving onto a butternut squash risotto, the three course meal was topped off with a trio of chocolate deserts. This had to be the highlight of the meal! Included was a chocolate profiterole, a mini chocolate brownie and a slab of white chocolate ice cream. As someone who is a true chocolate lover and often torn between what to pick from the sweet menu, this suited me perfectly.

With champagne flowing all night, excellent company by the way of other bloggers and beauty industry professionals and a delicious Christmas dinner set with the perfect festive decorations, it was certainly a night to remember.
