Murad Skincare Facial and Products

Murad Skincare Facial

Murad Skincare isn’t new on the block, but it may well be as new to you as it was to me when I discovered them for the first time this month. Created by Dr Murad, a world renown dermatologist and skincare specialist, Dr Murad has used his many years of caring for patient’s skin to create his own line. Big in America, Murad is now making it’s way over here, and so I was excited to pop to their counter in Debenhams, Trafford Centre in Manchester, to find out more.

Murad aren’t in many stores around Manchester but they have opened a new counter on the beauty floor in Debenhams Trafford Centre this year. If you live near Manchester I would definitely recommend popping along to discover the brand for yourself – there really is something about experiencing beauty products in real life that helps with your purchase decision! – but if not then Murad products are available to buy online.

Unlike most other luxury skincare counters that make you commit to a minimum spend or offer a treatment as a gift with purchase, Murad offer free facials to both new and existing customers. Each facial starts off with a unique skincare scan which shows any problem areas (from wrinkles to sun spots to acne, this facial scanner shows everything!) and a system that recommends the best products for your skin. You then get to try these out yourself with the help of their skincare specialists during a half an hour long facial.

My facial was so relaxing that I honestly forgot I was in the middle of a busy store! I tried products from a number of Murad’s different ranges, which you can mix and max to get the best out of your skincare routine and to combat any major problems. The highlight of my facial had to be trying Murad’s Intensive-C Radiance Peel, which tingled upon application, was left on for 10 minutes, and then washed off to reveal visibly brightened skin. I absolutely loved the refreshing feeling and instant results, and have since bought the product and use it twice weekly!

Another standout product for me has to be the Invisiblur primer. Honestly, this is the best primer I have ever used – it goes on in a smooth, gel-like formula, finishing matte as the ideal base for your skin. So often primers can break me out but this one is kind to my skin, and as a bonus contains SPF 30 so keeps out any harmful sun’s rays from before my makeup. As a bonus, this month Murad are launching a limited edition of Invisiblur in support of  the wonderful charity, The Prince’s Trust, who are celebrating their 40th Anniversary this year. They’re donating £10 from each product sold to The Prince’s Trust, which is the perfect excuse to try this out for yourself, right?

I have since acquired quite the Murad collection and am absolutely sold on the quality of their products – they are showing visible results on my skin that I haven’t seen in other brands for a very long time and I am thoroughly enjoying my new Murad daily routine.
