Packing for holidays can be tricky. Yeah, you wanna take all your favourite things, but you also need to be practical and take a condensed version of your daily routine. Hopefully my What’s In My Travel Cosmetics Bag video on YouTube will give you guys a little bit of an idea of the sort of toiletries and make-up I take with me on my travels!
As a lot of you will already know, I have just got back from my summer vacation – this year I went on a very special holiday to celebrate on my parent’s 30th Wedding Anniversary; a cruise! We cruised around the Western Mediterranean for a week and then stayed in Barcelona for 5 more days, so there was a lot of travelling and changing. I had to think about what I would need for a very hot and sunny holiday, whilst keeping everything to a minimum to allow for condensed space in a cruise cabin.
Ultimately, everything I took came in useful and I reckon the decisions I made were a pretty good choice for my holiday – if anything, I think I overpacked toiletries! When it came to it, I was more bothered about enjoying the holiday of a lifetime over how frizzy my hair looked or how my make-up might be running in the heat!
