The must-have clothing item this Spring Summer 2018 is a blazer. You will have seen them all over the catwalks at the fashion weeks for this season and now they’re all over the high street, too.
You will see lots of monochrome and nude colours, however, if you really want to capitlise on the hottest trend of 2018 and really help yourself stand out from the crowd, opt for a coloured blazer.
I picked out this Carris Button Blazer Dress from online fashion store IKRUSH, who sell tons of beautiful affordable fashion items perfect for SS’18 including some gorgeous summer dresses. eaturing a low blazer style neckline, gold button detail, slim fit, and mini style, this can absolutely be worn as a dress for a night out. However, as you guys know I am tall and therefore for the perfect day-to-night out look I paired it with a white lace blouse and jeans for a smart-casual and comfortable look.
To complete the look, I paired my outfit with nude accessories to add an extra hint of subtle sophistication. Because the blazer was such a statement colour, I chose neutral coloured shoes and handbag as to keep the attention on the blazer. However the shoes do have a designer-esque edge with some beautiful stud and T-bar detailing.
