Since lockdown, I’ve been spending more time in the garden than ever. It’s been so nice to have some fresh air, especially when days out have been limited! Most weekends now I’ve been making the most of the sun and having a glass of wine or two in my little garden – it’s like my own little lockdown haven!
We all like a place in our garden to sit, or even a place to socialise and entertain. A patio and a decked area are great for things like this. However, try and consider placing these areas close to the exterior wall of your home. The closer it is, the less likely people can watch through their own windows.
As your garden starts to feel more secluded, it’s nice to be able to give it the backdrop it deserves. Now that you have your outdoor living space nestled close to home, you’ll want the house to look the part too. And you don’t have to worry about the house painting cost as there are many ways you can go about it. However, the idea here is that with your newly painted home exterior, you’ll feel more comfortable relaxing privately in your spruced outside space.
Finally, keep that patio and deck more private by adding a canopy or umbrella. Most of your entertaining or relaxing will be done here, and the last thing you will want is an audience.
