How Rad Is Your Dad? IWOOT and Mankind Father’s Day Event

Happy Father’s Day! In celebration of our day to thank our Dadda’, partners and baby daddies (no, I don’t have one of those yet!), gifting website IWOOT and men’s beauty site Mankind decided to join up to put on an event to give us some quirky gift ideas. Oh, and to ask us the question – how rad is your dad?

We gathered at Pie and Ale, in Mancheter’s trendy Northern Quarter ready for the combined event. Pies and beer – pretty blokey, right? It was a great central location and ideal for those popping along for gift ideas for their Dad after work. There were even a group of male bloggers who made it all the way from Bradford especially for the event, which was pretty cool!

I was very honoured to be able to take my baby Sonny along as a guest of honour! He’s my little cherub angel and he had so much fun as the official IWOOT mascot, mingling with guests and saying hello to all his followers. Heck, taking a pug to an event is definitely the way to break the ice with pretty much anyone. Would highly recommend if you’re planning your own!

With gift ideas from both IWOOT – one of the most unusual gifting websites around – and premium male beauty from Mankind, it definitely got my mind racing as to what I could get my Dadda for his Father’s Day. Although both IWOOT and Mankind do amazing, different gifts, their wide selection of items did make it hard to pick out a fav, and so my present of choice would have to be the new IWOOT Mystery Gift Box. This costs £24.99 and contains a range of gifts and gadgets to the worth of at least fifty quid, which is a right bargain. They do these for both gals and guys, and my Dad will be receiving his very own today!

With drinks, snacks (hello fish and chips!) and tons of gifts and gadgets to play with, it was a really lovely evening and so interesting to attend my first male blogger event. It’s really cool to see the difference between the usual blogger events I go to and this one, and I especially loved the ‘beard pong’, in celebration of the special occassion!
