Happy Furday (friday), kittens! The weekend is almost upon us and what better way to celebrate than with some exciting news. This week I’m on the home page of Manchester Fashion Week’s website, not once, but twice! It isn’t the first time (read here for a quick memory job) but it seems to get more and more exciting each time.

I absolutely love giving interviews and so I was delighted when Manchester Fashion Week contacted me asking to have a natter about my blogging “career”. Now, I’m not sure I could qualify LilyKitten.com as a career yet, but it was super fun to chat about my aspirations, inspirations and what makes me tick.

If you had a playlist to get you through the average working day, what would be the top 2 tracks? Firstly, probably something pop punk from my teenage years (I’m a rock chick at heart) then secondly; something from new Manchester band Horsebeach the soundtrack to all my Youtube videos.

What is your favorite thing so far about being a blogger? I love how many opportunities it’s opened up for me and how many new people I’ve met, all from having the best hobby ever! It’s incredible how something that starts so small can become so big if you put your mind to it.

What are your favorite apps to use as a blogger? I only really use social networking apps, such as Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr… Got to keep up to date, haven’t I?

What is your dream job? It would be my dream to run www.lilykitten.com full time, but I’m lucky that I absolutely love the job I have now in an advertising agency. Perhaps fashion advertising would be ideal!

Worst advice you ever received? “Good things come to those who wait”. Nope, good things come to those who work their little kitten bums off for them!

List 3 things on your shopping wish list? I’d love some extra camera equipment to help me out in making my Youtube videos (which you can watch at http://youtube.com/lilykitten1) such as a tripod, lighting and microphone. Other than that, I always have room for more handbags and heels!

My spot to spend big in Manchester is … Harvey Nichols, you can’t beat it for luxury
