My Jimmy Choo Perfume Collection

Hey kittens, today’s blog post is all about my Jimmy Choo perfume collection – something which has actually been requested!

As a lover of perfume (disclaimer: but I’m no expert!) I’m a little bit fussy about my smells. No one wants to stink of something they don’t love and so I’ve developed a little bit of a fussy taste, focusing on fresh and modern scents over more musky traditional ones. Jimmy Choo is a brand I have learnt to love for this, and within this blog post I’ll be discussing my top 3 Jimmy Choo perfumes.

My favourite – and my first steps into the footsteps of Jimmy – is the original Jimmy Choo Eu De Parfum. I was bought this as a gift two years ago for my 21st birthday and every time I spray it, it brings back wonderful memories. Luckily I’ve not had to replace this bottle yet – after owning it two years I still have a little less than half left! I do use it sparingly (I find a little goes a long way and is very long lasting) but although expensive I reckon it’s pretty good value for money for this reason. I like to think of this as my signature scent; it smells like no other perfume, such an expensive, modern and instantly recognisable smell.

My second of the collection is Jimmy Choo Flash, which I picked up in the January Sales for a bit of a bargain – the gift set (including body lotion) was half price at Boots after Christmas, meaning it cost only £21.99. Plus, I used my Boots points I’d been saving so it was absolutely free! This smell is pretty different to the original but still has that signature Jimmy Choo sent that I can’t quite put my finger on. The lasting power on this one seems to be worse than the first – not sure if this is why it turns out slightly cheaper most of the time, but this is still a fantastic perfume that I enjoy wearing.

The final and newest addition to my Jimmy Choo perfume collection is the newly released limited edition Jimmy Choo Exotic EDT Spray (2014 Edition). I picked this up online from Click Fragrance* who seem to do a lot of designer perfumes cheaper than other retailers (which is a bonus in my books). This bottle is a summery take on the original Jimmy Choo Eu De Parfum and has become my go-to perfume this summer. The scene itself is a lot like the original too; at first you might think it was the same, but the after smell is actually a lot my fruity and holiday-esque. I would probably recommend buying either this one or the original – both is a little unnecessary if you’re on a budget as they’re quite similar, but I couldn’t resist trying the latest Jimmy Choo edition.
After all, whilst I can’t afford to wear him on my feet (yet!) I will be able to enjoy wearing Jimmy Choo as my signature scent!
