Hey kittens, Happy Friday! Hope you’re all set for a (relatively) dry weekend! Pretty handy that I have the perfect smart-casual weekend dress for y’all, hey?
It’s a bit of a rainy and blustery day in Manchester right now – when I say rain, I mean torrential, pouring down, the world-is-ending rain. Not exactly the perfect Spring-like weather I was hoping for today, but I guess we can’t have too many sunny days or we’d be getting spoilt! Luckily, I took these photos yesterday when the sky was behaving itself a little more…
This dress is so “me” I can’t get over it. I’ve been wearing it SO much, and for a pretty heavy print (hello, polkadot hearts) and a scarlet red colour, it’s pretty versatile. I mean, I’ve dressed it up quite summery here – the bare legs were a little brave, I know – but I couldn’t resist pairing it with these super on trend, chunky strap sandals from MissPap. A little Birkenstock-esque but at a fraction of the price. However, if you check out my Instagram page, you’ll have seen I also wore it to the Harvey Nichols SS14 fashion show. This time, with opaque tights, ankle boots and a fedora, and doesn’t it look so different?
