Outfit of the Day: Tropical Blouse

Hey kittens, today’s blog post is probably a little optimistic for the weather (not gonna lie, I was deffo wearing a coat but deffo took it off for these pictures), but there’s nothing like a tropical blouse to brighten up a rainy Manchester day. And fortunately, the weather had improved since the last time I photographed in this little Northern Quarter spot.

Today’s outfit is a mix of high end and high street items, which I personally really like. I’m not one to often buy designer or splurge on a high end item, but I do save up for something if I really want it, and I find accessories are a good way of investing in some special pieces that can be worn with many different outfits and treasured for a long time. I think this Vivienne Westwood necklace is just classic.

At the other end of the scale, my clothing in this look is exclusively all from Primark. No, that wasn’t planned, but you can’t beat a bit of Primarni and their items are just so bargainous sometimes I can’t resist. I really like this blouse, it kinda reminds me of a 1950’s diner waitress (in a good way) but actually have barely worn it. Plus, annoyingly I saw it in Primark recently in the sale, reduced to a fiver after I bought it a couple of weeks before full price. Horrendously annoying but always the way with Primark in Manchester!
