Hey kittens, today’s blog post is pretty special, and hopefully will give you an idea for a lovely Christmas present this year – because it certainly has for me!
A couple of weeks I ago I was luck enough to choose my own personalised notebook* by a sweet indepedent company, called Chroma Stationary, who are currently running a Kickstarter campaign for some much needed funds to get started. Based on the idea of providing the perfect notebook – in every colour of the rainbow – Chroma offer a personalisation service, where you can emboss a name, phrase or logo onto your notebook. When they asked if I would like my blog name on mine, I jumped at the chance!
The whole process of choosing my notebook was totally customisable from start to finish, bar the size. I was able to choose what colour I wanted, whether I wanted it lined, what I would like personalised, the font and font size and whether I wanted it in gold or silver. The website offers a whole host of different colours – 20 different colours to be exact – and each his named after an important person or figure in Chroma’s eyes. I love that idea. I chose this subtle pastel Lilac shade, ‘Doris’, named after Chroma’s nanny.
For my personalisation, I of course chose ‘Lily Kitten’ and I selected this beautiful metallic gold to engraved my name on the notebook. At Chroma, you can chose almost anything to personalise your stationary – your name, initials, a message or logo – allowing you to really make your notebook your own. For this part, Chroma worked really closely with me to ensure that they got the embossing just right; when I told them I didn’t know my logo font (bad blogger!) they look the logo directly from my blog and replicated it so that it looked just right. I couldn’t be any happier with how it looks. It’s sophisticated and subtle, yet definitely mine.
Chroma is a small, friendly, new independent company that gave me fantastic customer service and produced the most beautiful personalised notebook, especially for me. It is an absolutely beautiful gift, priced at a very reasonable £7.50. If you’re looking to really spoil a special someone this Christmas, I would highly recommend this as a gift. In fact, so much so I have already referred a friend who bought one of these as a special present and I know several others that are putting these at the top of their wish lists this year.
Thank you, Chroma, for giving me what is possibly one of the most special blog gifts I have ever received. It’s the perfect size for popping in my handbag, ready to scribble down notes at fashion shows or write out my next YouTube video idea, and the unlined pages mean I can doodle away to my heart’s content. The pastel colour is beautiful and I adore my blog logo on the front. It’s sophisticated and subtle, yet definitely mine.
