Pixi Skincare Routine and Collection

Pixi Skincare Routine and Collection

Pixi by Petra is a brand which is raising through the ranks of cult beauty status in the Beauty Blogging world. Having met with the brand last year, and a few weeks ago stumbled upon their beautiful Carnaby Street flagship store in London, I have developed a real love for this brand and what they stand for. With nearly all vegan and natural ingredients, Pixi Skincare is a gentle alternative to soothing your skin in a few easy steps, so today I am sharing my Pixi Skincare Routine and Collection.

Pixi Skincare Routine and Collection

As a Beauty Blogger I am lucky enough to have a wide and varied skincare collection (hey, we all have our vices!) so I often mix and match my products and brands. I usually remove my makeup first with a cleansing oil or micellar water before going in for a double cleanse with a cleansing balm, but if I am on the go, I will use my Pixi by Petra Makeup Melting Cleansing Cloths. These are a super gentle alternative to harsh and abrasive makeup remove wipes – they are pre-hydrated so leave your skin moisturised. Whilst i wouldn’t use these everyday I do keep these in my travel bag for nights away with work.

A product I use more regularly is the Pixi Nourishing Cleansing Balm. I like to massage this into my face after removing my makeup, then soak off with a warm flannel to give myself a really lovely hot cloth cleanse. Plus, it smells delicious.

On to probably the most famous of Pixi’s products; the Pixi Glow Tonic toner! This toner has cult status in the beauty community and I can totally understand well – it’s gentle, natural and balances your skin perfectly. I can’t see myself using any other toner now.

After toning and before moisturising, I like to add a serum and the Pixi by Petro Rose Oil Blend is a luxurious botanical blend to use to gently soothe your skin. Rose is a flower well known for it’s healing properties and this serum by Pixi is no exception.

After I’ve completed my makeup, I also like to spritz a facial mist to complete my look and add in some hydration throughout the day. The Hydrating Milky Mist from Pixi is a really lovely mist for the summer months, as it’s a thick yet invisible texture that adds moisture back into the skin at any time of the day.

Finally, not strictly skincare but this little travel makeup kit has become an absolute staple in my overnight bag. This Book of Beauty – Minimal Makeup from Pixi contains everything that you would need (aside from foundation) to do your face makeup on the go. With highlighter, bronzer, blusher and eyeshadow in it, I simply pop this in my makeup bag along with some other essentials and I am good to go. It’s a genius idea and at £24 I would recommend this to everyone for holidays and work overnights.

I didn’t know Pixie was vegan and natural at all! I’ve walked past the store so many times on Carnaby. You’ve convinced me to take a look and see if there’s anything that tickles my fancy.
