Another day, another blazer – I’m sure I’ve started off blog posts like that before! But, I can’t help it. When in doubt, stick a blazer on (or some sort of similar phrase like that?!). For me, blazers are such a staple in my wardrobe as they work so well for both workwear and taking an outfit from day-to-night. I’m just not the sort of girl that can pull off a leather or denim jacket, so the more formal structure of a blazer fills the void where one of those might usually be… Today, I’m wearing mine with mom jeans.
The contrast between the somewhat fitted, double breasted silhouette of the blazer and the slightly slouchy, more relaxed fit of the jeans mean these two items work really well together. Paired with a simple black t-shirt, these two items can work just as well with a pair of trainers for a lunch time out, as with a pair of heels for a dinner date. Today, I’m wearing them with my favourite Paradox heels for an added bit of bling.
