Sweetie Darling Fashion Is My Forte Gift Set

Hey kittens, today I have another special Christmas gift idea for the lovely ladies in your life. As we’re approaching the festive season, I’ve been searching for personal gifts that mean a little more than an off-the-shelf gift set, which is why I think this beautiful little box by Sweetie Darling is something special this year.

Sweetie Darling is a local ladie’s gift company, and y’all know how I love to support Manchester independent’s. They had an opening party a couple of weeks ago, and when I unfortunately had to decline my invite due to other commitments, they sent me along this sweet little gift set to try. This is the Fashion is My Forte Gift Set*, sold at £25 which I feel is pretty average price for a gift set around this time of year. It’s targeted for gals who love fashion (duh!), aiming to provide them with something a little different to clothes.

The set contains three items: Fashion Tips Pure Class Notebook, Chanel Quote Pencil Set, Maude & Tilda Hermes Tote Bag; although when it comes packaged so beautifully, it looks like a lot more. I like how each of these items are so different that it’s highly unlikely anyone you’re buying for will have owned anything similar previously, particularly with the pencils and the notebook. These two items are so quirky – love the phrases on the pencils – and go so nicely together. They’re different, sweet and yet still practical presents that can be kept in a handbag or on a work desk for daily usage, which is ultimately the aim of any present giving.

However, my most frequently used item from the set is the canvas bag, which lies neatly folded at the bottom of the box. This bag is by Maude and Tilda, selling at £10 if you were to buy this individually on Sweetie Darling. It’s a thick canvas quality, and despite owning what I would say is verging on hundreds of canvas bags which I am given for free on a weekly basis from blog events and within online shopping, I keep reaching for this one. Initially, I didn’t think I would use it as much as I do having already owned so many totes like this, but I really do use it a lot – the fact that is has a cute slogan, is a strong quality and unbranded (unlike most of my others), I like, and it’s turned out to be pretty darn useful.

So kittens, if you are looking for something a little more special for your mum, sister, best friend or girlfriend this Christmas, I would recommend checking out Sweetie Darling. They have a whole ton of different gift set ideas, starting with individual items for less than a tenner, so there is sure to be something to suit every gal.
