The Summer Menu at Cosy Club Corn Exchange Manchester

There’s nothing better than a nice cosy meal on rainy, Manchester evening to get you through this miserable summer, is there? So, when Cosy Club Corn Exchange Manchester invited me along to try out their new summer menu, I grabbed my pal Amy and we popped along to see what they had on offer.

Located in the Corn Exchange, which was the old Triangle, in Exchange Square, it is pretty much smack bang in the middle of Manchester and right in between the Arndale, Cathedral Street and The Printworks. It’s the perfect location for a pre Manchester Arena gig meal or a post shopping trip scoff. The décor is quirky and homely, and the staff are lovely and welcoming, making it feel pretty… Well… Cosy!

This was my first visit to The Cosy Club so I was interested to see that they do a pretty extensive menu of both main meals and tapas, meaning there is plenty of choice for everyone. To start, Amy and I tried some of their new tapas dishes, choosing three between us to share. The tapas is 3 for £13.95 or £4.95 each. We went for the Halloumi Sticks with chipotle chilli jam (which were to die for!), the Cosy Scotch eggs wrapped in black pudding with mixed leaves and tomato chutney, and finally the brand new Roast Cauliflower. Served with dukkah and tahini cauliflower purée, pomegranate molasses, flaked almonds and harissa oil, I would definitely recommend trying this.

Our waiter talked us through new Summer menu and told us that their burger menus have had a whole makeover, so I thought it was the perfect opportunity to have the first burger I’ve had in a long time! I actually went for something a little different, The Beyond Meat burger. This costs £12.75 and is totally vegan, although you would never guess! It comes with a 6oz meat-free patty from Beyond Meat, with melted cheese, lettuce, tomato, gherkin, red onion and burger sauce. I also decided to upgrade to sweet potato fries and can honestly tell you that this is the best burger I have probably ever had… It was amazing and I am still thinking about in a week later!

Amy went for a healthy option and chose a salad (with fries on the side, would be rude not to!). She chose another new addition to the Cosy Club Summer Menu, the Warm Spiced Aubergine, Hummus and Feta salad. At £10.50, this is a pretty big salad and comes served with fennel, red onion androcket salad and pomegranate molasses. She told me she thoroughly enjoyed it and was something a bit different, and it came with plenty of Feta, which is an absolute must!

Over all, we had a great dinner at the Cosy Club Corn Exchange Manchester. The whole team were super friendly and welcoming, the food was hearty and delicious and the cocktails were fresh and fruity. The Cosy Club Summer Menu is a yes from me!
