Top 5 Spring Cleaning Tips

Have you started your Spring Cleaning yet? Whether it’s sorting our your new season makeup stash, or swapping your winter clothes for your summer ones in your wardrobe, April is definitely the time for a good old Spring Clean, and so today I’m bringing you some ideas to inspire you! Here are my Top 5 Spring Cleaning Tips to keep you motivated.

1. Get your kit sorted – make sure you have everything you need before you start your cleaning. Marigolds, bleach, sprays, wipes; have it all ready so you have no excuses to stop once you get started.
2. Make a list! Keep things organised by writing it all down first. That way you’ll keep on track, be more efficient and you won’t forget any little niggly corners that you might otherwise miss.
3. It’s not just the kitchen and bathroom you should give a good clean, have a wipe over of your lounge and bedroom, too. The places you spend the most time in often need the most attention.
4. Have a swipe of your products as well as your rooms; all your makeup and toiletries need refreshing every few months to make sure they don’t go of, so make sure to give them due attention too.
5. Spring clean your wardrobe, too! Take the time to put your Winter clothes in storage (under your bed, in your loft, whatever) and free up some space for your Summer clothes. That way you’ll have more room in your cupboard to plan your outfits and have easy access to the garments for warmer days.
