Some days just require a pair of skinny jeans and Converse, right? For casual weekends out for lunch with your pals, you really can’t go wrong with these two staple items, plus a T-Shirt. A simple way I try and make myself look a little less casual in these is to add a statement pair of sunglasses and a bold blazer – does it work? I’m not sure, but it makes me feel more comfortable in the situation at least!
My T-shirt here is ‘Gucci inspired’ and I decided to pick out elements of the gold detail on it with this bright mustard yellow blazer by River Island. I have this same style of Blazer from River Island in more colours than I would like to admit (although always picking them up in the sale when they’re down from £70 to £35!) and just find them such high quality for the price. Plus, the fit is so nice and the double breast really does the trick to smarten up almost any outfit. Including this one, perhaps!
