Ever since first starting to watch kid’s TV in the 90’s and viewing her as one of my favourite presenters, I’ve been a huge fan of Fearne Cotton’s style. She always manages to look effortlessly cool – a little bit rock chick, a little bit vintage and a whole lot of personality! Something I personally also like to aspire too. And something, which is definitely reflected in her latest collection. 

Fearne’s SS15 collection for Very is named ‘Circus Rebel’, drawing its main inspiration from rock and roll heroines of the 1970s –Joan Jett, Stevie Nicks and Debbie Harry. It’s pretty feminine due to the tailoring and big florals, whilst still retaining Ferne’s signature ‘rock chick’ style with it’s patterns and material; note the leather, stripes and faux fur!

There are also a number of nods to my namesake – cats – which is definitely a big thumbs up from me! As a cat lover, Fearne’s a gal after my own heart, and as a Kitten myself, I can definitely see myself in the ‘Meow’ sweater or cat motif top… Purrrfect!

Aside from the obvious feline related fav picks, I really love the floral two-piece; the subdued blossom pattern has a vintage feel and the tailoring of the box top and midi skirt is bound to flatter almost any body shape. Heck, with my love of co-ords throughout 2013, I can definitely see myself rocking that twosie next year! For this winter, however, I’ve got my eyes on the stunning faux fur monochrome coat. A girl can never have enough faux fur (well, that’s how I justify it to myself anyway) and this striped number would certainly stand out in my wardrobe of block colours and animal prints.
