Glitzy Secrets Hair Clip Review

Hey kitty cats, today’s review is a little more glamorous than usual. Instead of writing about my latest favourite cocktail, or a new pair of boots, I’m talking all about the latest hair accessory to join my jewellery box; Glitzy Secrets.

Despite having a love-hate relationship with my big curly ‘do, I’ve always loved one thing about it: the ability to accessorize! Whilst my sister has gorgeous straight hair that can be styled in almost any way she wants (and can ignite a little sibling jealousy, of course), she struggles whenever she wants to pop in a bow or clip. Accessories simply slide out of her hair, and whilst I might not be able to wear my hair in so many different ways, I can certainly stick in a hair flower or two. So, when Glitzy Secrets asked if I would like to try one of their hair combs, I jumped at the chance.

I chose the Vintage Posy Hair Comb* which retails at £34. Coming wrapped up in a cute little gift box, encased in tissue paper, it felt a bit like a present to myself (which I guess it was). The comb itself is excellent quality – not at all flimsy – and grips my curls pretty sturdily. However, for the purpose of showing you how glitzy this thing really is, I’ve photographed it separately. With clear diamontes all over this silver frame, it’s super sparkly and certainly very eye catching and reminiscent of a 1950’s Classic Hollywood head piece. As a vintage lover, I’m certainly a fan.
