Outfit of the Day: MCRFW Photoshoot

Hey kittens, hope you’re all having a lovely Wednesday. As we’re halfway through the week, I’m torn between looking forward to this up-coming weekend (hello, London Fashion Week) and looking back on an equally exciting weekend from the one just gone – including our first Manchester Fashion Week photoshoot of 2014!

Shortly after starting my blog in 2012, I was delighted to be asked to be part of the MCRFW team of Official Influential Bloggers (proper mouthful, that). Having been one of their bloggers since pretty much the start of my blog, two years ago, its an event that’s been close to my heart and fingers crossed everything goes well for them this year. I’m told details are to follow shortly (everything its tip-top secret at the mo) and I can’t wait to unseal my lips! A blog post with more details and some of my pictures from our day on Sunday will follow, but for now, I couldn’t help but share these gorgeous photos taken by WamBam Photography on the 14th floor of my favourite hotel in Manchester, the Radisson Blu Edwardian.

I’m so pleased with these gorgeous photos by Charlotte, I love how different all us blogger’s style is! Personally, I chose to wear a typical daily outfit for this photoshoot, rather than going all out. Note my favourite hat, earrings and watch – all well-worn accessories I can’t help but add to my looks at the minute. My dress is a new favourite from Ark. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I honestly believe Ark do some of the best shift dresses out there and they’re my go-to store for a cute collared number. In fact, Ark had supplied some other dresses for us to look at and style on Sunday; I didn’t dare try any others on in case I got far too tempted!
