Happy Valentine’s Day, kittens! Sending lots of love to y’all today (as ever) and hoping you’re all having a lovely day. I’m not huge on Valentine’s Day as a Whole – we all know it’s over-commercialised to hell – but I can’t help but get sucked in a little bit by the festivities. Heck, we all know I love a theme and I can’t help but get a little drawn in by all the heart-shaped tack.
How appropriate – and “me” – is this necklace? It’s almost as if Punky Pins made this 1940’s, Litchenstein-esque masterpiece with me in mind. Admittedly, it’s not terribly festive owing to the sentiments in the thought-bubble but it’s a little more on my wavelength this year. Aside from the Valentine’s related necklace by Punky Pins, I also love the romantic, dark red of this polkadot shift dress from Ark. As I said in my last blog post, Ark are fast becoming my go-to site for cute collared dresses; proper up my street. I finished the preppy look with some quirky tassle socks and this sweet bowler hat by Accessoryo to bring an extra splash of maroon. Yep. Gotta love a theme.
