Hey kittens, today’s blog post is a little bit fancier than usual (and a little bit sunnier than it is now). In fact, these photographs were taken on a very special day – my little sister’s graduation. Wow, that makes me sound old, but I swear she’s only two years younger than me! Anyway, I thought that this would give y’all some ‘going out’ outfit ideas now that we’re starting to enter party season.

Although these photos were taken when we had a little more leaves on the trees, I really love a red dress for any occasion, let alone the festive season. Some might think it’s a little scary to wear red, but I would go as far as to say it’s my favourite colour. I’m also pretty sure that it suits any skin tone, looking fab on fair to dark alike. Pop on a classic fit like this one with some court shoes and a lick of red lippy and you’re good to go to your next Christmas party!
