Hi kittens! It’s the start of a new week and whilst it IS a Monday morning, I can’t help but feel a little bit cheery as not only is it super sunny in Manchester again today – yesterday I was blogging in the garden with my sunnies on! – but I’m only working three days again this week. Therefore, this Monday is technically my Wednesday – can’t complain.
Today’s outfit is a transitional one; although the sun has been shining for a couple of days in Manchester, it’s still not quite spring. I mean, its the start of March and this time last year we were having snow! So, I thought I would compromise my outfit with a cross between sun and the fresh March air, by wearing this gorgeous long sleeved floral dress by Angel Eye London – a proper cute independent British store with the sweetest items – with some warmer accessories to match. I can’t help but feel that when the sun comes out, it’s only natural to change my usual black accessories (shoes, bags, coats) to a warmer, tan colour, which is exactly what I’ve done with this Goddiva coat and Shoezone boots. Plus, these nautical earrings from Punky Pins can’t help but make me feel that summer isn’t too far away!
I also just have to give a shout out to two skincare products that have successfully (hopefully) got me through the winter since the new year. Firstly, this beautiful little pot of Steam Cream has been such a favourite of mine that I have literally scraped the bottom of the tin for it and used it all up – I can’t even remember the last time that’s happened with a beauty product for me! It is such a lovely all-purpose moisturiser, perfect for using on face and body, and the floral, lavander-y smell is just divine! Heal Gel eyes is also my new go-to eye cream (although more of a cooling “gel” as the name suggests, rather than a moisturising cream). I’ve been using this morning and night since the start of January and I am just about halfway through the bottle, which I reckon is pretty good going. I’ve been using both of these since the start of January and so now feel confident enough to recommend both of them to y’all.

So kittens, how will you be spending your Monday? Even if you’re in work, school or uni, I’d definitely recommend taking a little walk at lunchtime. I can’t wait to have my daily walk alongside the Castlefield canals in this lovely weather.
