Hey kittens, today’s outfit of the day is what I wore to visit Manchester’s Christmas Markets this year. I really wanted to wear something festive (hence the red velvet dress) but it’s still super important to wrap up warm, especially up Norf, and so it was all about layers in this look.

To compromise wearing a pretty dress with warmth, I went for a pair of Primark’s finest extra thick woollen tights – holla at me if you love Granny tights – and a faux fur headband I picked up from the markets last year to keep all the heat in my head/hair! With an oversized coat and pair of ankle boots, I was good to go! I really like how practical this look is; you don’t need to always compromise style for warmth. In fact, if you live in Manchester, you get used to it!
