Soap & Glory Orangegasm Launch




Hey kittens, another event update now for y’all! The other week I was absolutely delighted to be invited along to Soap and Glory’s Manchester stop of their UK tour. As a huge fan of their brand (I mean, can’t you just tell how “me” it is from their very pink, very vintage image?) I just KNEW I had to go see what was going on!
With the promise of a couple of new product launches on the cards – how exciting – I popped along to Proper Tea at Manchester Cathedral. As a fairly new tea shop, I was pleasantly surprised to see how well the venue fitted Soap and Glory; very vintage, sweet and decorated in gorgeous pink bunting, balloons and fresh tulips. Absolutely stunning! The macaroons and meringues also went down a treat with their speciality hibiscus Prosecco.
Over our bubbly and afternoon tea, we were given a tall about the history of Soap and Glory and given the chance to ask questions about the way it is now. Apparently, it all started off with its origins in Skincare, which is the direction they are hoping to capitalise on next. I have to admit, despite being an avid buyer of their bath sets and daily user of their body butter, I’m still pretty new to their makeup and Skincare. I’ve made a mental note to try some more!
We were also told about the launch of their Orangegasm range (another risky name, but undoubtedly catchy!) which includes orange fragrances body spray, body butter and bath bits (all the B’s!). Giving us the chance to sample these ourselves, I can definitely vouch for how delicious their smell – absolutely gorgeous!
Finally, we were also told about the new addition to their cellulite-busting range, targeted specifically for our saddle bags. Not sure what they are? Nor was I, but apparently I should be worried about them! Essentially they’re the cellulite on the outside of our thighs and under our bottom cheeks. Lovely! Wasn’t a concern of mine until now(!) but apparently the new ingredients in their Sit Tight and the “fat tractor” contraption used to massage this into our legs have been created specially to combat this. Well, I guess that’s good news!
Over all, I had such a lovely evening, I can’t even tell you! Everyone I spoke to was a delight and clearly very enthusiastic about Soap and Glory. I mean, I can understand why. I’ve been a loyal customer of their’s since the start; originally sucked in by their cute retro packaging, I’ve continued to repurchase their bath sets continually due to their high quality ingredients and gorgeous smell. Now, I have another scent to start buying!

    Their thermal scrub will always be my favourite! I have poor circulation so it works wonders! Although I'm not a huge fan of orange, it would still be nice to check out their new range, I'll have a look :)
    Looks like you had a fab evening, I'm quite envious, especially of the cake!
