Tommy Hilfiger 30th Anniversary Knitwear

Tommy Hiliger Runway Knitwear Liberty Jumper

Hello, Monday! This week I am SO excited to share with you a project that I’ve been keeping close to me for a little while and I have been working so hard on…

Welcome to Lily Kitten x Tommy Hilfiger Takeover Week!

This week, I’ll be bringing you four blog posts in collaboration with incredible heritage designer brand, Tommy Hilfiger. Each blog post will be different, from outfit posts to wish lists to a focus on shopping tips, each of this week’s blog posts will be everything Tommy – a brand which I’ve grown to know and love at House of Fraser Manchester. Plus, keep reading to secure yourself an exclusive 15% discount off this incredible designer brand.

Tommy Hilfiger is a fashion brand which needs no introduction (but I’m kinda gonna do one anyway – stay with me). Tommy is iconic and one of the world’s leading lifestyle brands; I’m sure just saying the name will make you think of all things American. Red, white and blue all over. Since 1985, their style has continued to evolve and they now stock many ready-to-wear clothes and accessories. Today, to kick off my first Tommy Hilfiger x Lily Kitten post, I’m going classic Tommy and wearing one of their off-the-catwalk-and-into stores knitwear pieces.

To celebrate their 30 year fashion history and American-infused designs, Tommy Hilfiger have brought out a range of knitwear pieces straight from the runway. It’s pretty rare that high fashion pieces are available to buy straight from catwalk to store, and so being able to purchase runway clothes seems like the ideal way to shout about 30 years of Tommy Hilfiger. One of only two concessions in the UK, Tommy Hilfiger at House of Fraser in Manchester stocks the full collection of limited edition runway jumpers. Here, I’m wearing my favourite of the lot – a New York inspired number.

Part of the limited edition range, the full range of limited edition knitwear is available at House of Fraser Manchester to celebrate Tommy Hilfiger’s 30th Anniversary. These heritage pieces are a subtle nod to Tommy’s fashion history and this embroidered wool and cashmere blend Statue of Liberty, costing £160, one has to be my favourite out of the collection. I love how it’s red, white and blue colouring gives an American vibe without it being ‘too out-there’ – it’s super cute and warm for the autumn winter, too! So, without further a-do, I’ll let you enjoy my Outfit of the Day…

What do you reckon to my choice? Of course, I had to keep to the Tommy Hilfiger colour palette – you guys know, once I’m in with a theme, I keep to it! – so my handbag just had to be by the brand too. I love a bit of red, white and blue! I kept the rest of my items monochrome, to ensure I didn’t distract from the jumper – heck, it’s a statement piece so let’s keep it that way!

Whilst I was shopping for this jumper at House of Fraser, on Deansgate in Manchester, I just had to have a nosey at the rest of the 30th Anniversary collection, too. I mean, curiosity killed the cat, not the kitten, right?!

House of Fraser’s Tommy Hilfiger concession is on Floor 2 of the department store, and super easy to find. I love how convenient House of Fraser is for keeping all my fav fashion outlets in one place, and if you guys have been reading here for a while (hello, welcome back!) you will know how often I pop in. During the celebration of 3 decades of Tommy Hilfiger, the full limited edition runway jumper collection will be stocked there – and it looks something a little like this…

The collection is full of stars, stripes and varsity style. However, if Americana or wool knitwear isn’t quite your thing, there’s also a sweater in the collection which took my fancy. I love a bit of retro and this pop-art inspired jumper is right up my street! There’s also a couple of other 30th Anniversary jumpers available at House of Fraser, all in a subtle American-retro style, including one with a gold ’30’ slogan across it, which brings back a bit of Tommy Hilfiger’s baseball sport style.

Honestly, I really love the Tommy Hilfiger 30th Anniversary collection and it feels like a suitable way to kick off the Lily Kitten x Tommy Hilfiger takeover this week! So kittens, keep your eyes peeled for the rest of my posts coming this week – there’s so much more to share, and I am particularly excited to share with you my next Outfit of the Day later this week – keep your eyes peeled!
