American Haul: What I Bought in Utah, USA

As you guys know, I just got back from living in Utah, USA for a little while, and whilst I was there I picked up a few bits and bobs. Whenever I visit America, there are certain things I always buy and look out for, so for those who enjoy YouTube hauls, I thought I would show you some of my favourite American fashion and beauty buys, snacks and souvenirs that I picked up whilst I was there.

• Ice Hockey memorabilia. As you guys know I am a big ice hockey fan and I like to try and see a game whenever I go away (as long as it’s played in that country of course!). Luckily, ice hockey is a BIG DEAL in the USofA and although Utah isn’t home to an NHL team, I did go and see the Utah Grizzlies play which was super fun – where I also picked up a beanie to remind me of the evening!
• American Candy. Who could visit America without picking up some candy? Although American candy is becoming more available here, I still love bringing home new sweets and chocolates for my friends to try. I especially love Milk Duds and Junior Mints, which are my absolute favs. I always bring a packet home for myself, too.
• US based Beauty Products. Some beauty products just aren’t available in the UK and so whenever I visit America I check out Sephora, Wallgreens and CVS to make sure I’m not missing out on any cool drugstore brands we can’t get back here. Specifically, I always pick up Crest Teeth Whitening Strips. They’re not available to buy at all in the UK but they work a dream so I always stock up on a pack when I’m there.
• Victoria’s Secret. Sure, we have VS over here now but the prices in America are just so much better – and heck, you can’t argue with the fit! When I was in Utah I was out there for the whole month of January while the sales were on and I managed to pick up two bras for $16 each, which is around £13. These same styles would be around £40-50 here, so I really couldn’t resist.
• Bath and Body Works. Damn, I am a sucker for this shop! I always pick up a couple of three wick candles from Bath and Body Works as they are just honestly the most fragranced candles I have ever used. Not only do they smell amazing, burn evenly and last for ages, but they come in such a wide variety of scents and designs that there is a candle for every mood. Not good when they weight down my suitcase so heavily.
